Are you tired of being told you have to book an accessible taxi a day in advance? Are you sick of two-hour, or longer, waits for same day service?

taxiWhether you use an accessible taxi, or a sedan, do you think taxi fares are too high now to warrant another fare increase? Then it’s important that you attend an upcoming public hearing on taxi service.

What:

Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) public hearing about allocation of   proposed taxicab certificates and a proposed fare increase

When:

Tuesday, November 19, 6:30 pm

Where:

Conference Rooms 4 & 5, Fairfax   County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, 22035

We need to provide as much testimony as possible so the CPC understands the effects of the proposed changes on people with disabilities and seniors.

If you can’t testify in person, testimony can also be submitted by sending an email to consumer@fairfaxcounty.gov or by letter to Consumer Protection Commission, 12000 Government Center Pkwy, Suite 433, Fairfax, VA 22035. Testimony submitted by email or letter should be received by 4:30 p.m. on November 19. For special accommodations, contact Heidi Baggett at 703-324-5957, TTY 711, FAX 703-324-3900.
