Merica House Vacancy

Merica House, a residence for the physically disabled located in Falls Church, Virginia  has a vacancy. The applicant must be over 18 yrs of age and  capable of directing their care.  Applicant must have or be eligible for the EDCD waiver or can bring their own attendant.  Round the clock care is provided for EDCD eligible individuals.  Section 8 vouchers (Virginia CHoice) are accepted.  For application or more details, please call 703 671-7991.

Fairfax County: Disability Employment Awareness Month Proclamation and Reception

Join us for Fairfax County’s 2013 Disability Employment Awareness Month Reception and Proclamation Ceremony!Untitled-2

You are cordially invited to a proclamation and reception ceremony celebrating Disability Employment Awareness Month in Fairfax County during the Tuesday September 24, 2013 Board of Supervisors meeting.  Come for the proclamation ceremony in the Board Auditorium at 9:30 a.m., and then stay for a reception immediately following the proclamation.  The reception will be held in the Cafeteria on the first level of the Government Center.  During the proclamation ceremony, all guests will be invited to the base of the auditorium for the reading of the proclamation and a picture with the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
