Maya Simbulan and girlsECNV celebrated the holidays and prepared for next year at the Annual Meeting/Holiday Party on Dec. 14th at the Nat’l Rural Electric Cooperative in the Ballston area of Arlington.

There was excellent food donated by local businesses, there was live music by Herb & Hanson, and there were plenty of door prizes donated by local businesses and eateries.

During the Annual Meeting part of the event, ECNV Executive Director Dave Burds and outgoing Board President Lee Jones, presented ECNV statistics from last year and made proposals for the coming year.

Lastly ECNV recognized two local businesses for commitment to people with disabilities by presenting them with Small Business Community Partner Awards: Me Jana (a Lebanese restaurant in Arlington), and Schaffer Construction (a remodeling/home modification provider based in Loudoun).
