LEND logoIt’s a brand new year and while it’s important to look forward, it’s also very important to look back and reflect on all of the accomplishments Loudoun ENDependence (LEND) has made in creating awareness, establishing partners, mutually beneficial alliances and obtaining new consumers throughout Loudoun County.

In 2010 we hosted a number of creative and innovative awareness campaigns to educate the public about disability. We’ve garnered many new consumers, and we let numerous government officials know about the impact LEND has made and why such an organization is valuable to human service. We also picked up many partners along the way creating relationships.

In 2011 we will continue on advocacy fronts for our consumers in the areas of transportation, accessible service and access to local business and the government sector, creating awareness about persons with disabilities needs overall, reintegrating persons with disabilities into the community with the proper supports, developing tools and materials that will benefit a diverse number of Loudouners in both the public and private sector.

We’re carrying the momentum attained in 2010 and propelling ourselves forward to keep going and growing in 2011.

If you would like to find out more about LEND’s missions, programs and services, just e-mail us or give us a call.
