Penny EverlineI was born in England and lived in many places; but, my husband, Mark, and I hope to call Arlington our home for many years to come. I hold an MSW Degree from GMU and an MS Degree in Higher Education Administration from NC State.

I am an accessible transportation advocate, having served on the Fairfax Area Disability Services Board, WMATA Riders’ Advisory Council, the Transportation Planning Board’s Access for All advisory committee, the Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center’s national work group, and now Arlington’s Transportation Commission.

Before coming to ECNV, I worked for Easter Seals Project ACTION, a national training and technical assistance center on accessible transportation.

As a person with a visual impairment who can’t drive, ability to access public transportation has opened many doors that might otherwise have been closed, and I want all people with disabilities to have the same opportunities I’ve enjoyed.
