Breast Cancer RibbonThe American Association on Health and Disabilities, with funding from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, is working to increase accessibility to breast cancer screening among women with disabilities and women from various cultures.

Part of the project a short survey has been created called “Breast Cancer Screening Women’s Survey,” to better understand what types of barriers are keeping women with disabilities from getting their mammograms.

If you are a woman with a disability and reside in the greater DC Metro area we invite you to help us gather this important data by taking a brief online survey that can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/s/G77ZLF3

From all those who are working toward a cure and saving lives through early detection and diagnoses, thank you!
