Federal Medical Assistance Percentages ( FMAP) Passage – A Glimmer of Hope – New Vote This Evening!

Please Call Senators Webb & Warner TODAY

The FMAP will come up for a vote again this evening!

PLEASE CALL Senators Webb and Warner TODAY and ask them to continue their support for the FMAP extension. Thank them for their previous support and ask them for their continued support.
As you know, funding of a number of critical items in our Virignia budget are contingent upon Congress passing an extension of the Federal Medicaid Allocation Percentage (FMAP). If it passes –

  • 5% cut in provider rates will be restored;
  • 250 ID Waiver slots will be added;
  • Respite Care hours will be increased to pre July 1 cut;

NOW – we need quick and simple phone calls!

PLEASE call your Senators TODAY.

Ask them to vote YES on HR 1586 which now includes the FMAP 6-month extension amendment ($16.1B). The Senate is expected to vote tonight.
