United States Census logoYour Census form should have arrived in March 2010. By answering 10 simple questions, you can help improve your schools, roads, hospitals, transportation and much more!

Did you know that Arlington County was undercounted in the 2000 Census by 3,568 persons?

This translates into a loss of about $3.37 million in federal funding over a 10-year period.

The funding lost is based on the following eight major federal Programs:

  1. Medicaid
  2. Foster Care
  3. Foster Care
  4. Rehabilitation Services Basic Support
  5. Child Care and Development Grant
  6. Social Services Block Grant
  7. Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant
  8. Adoption Assistance
  9. Vocational Educational Basic Grants
